Kelly the Pet Nanny is a company providing dog walking, boarding, pet sitting, dog running and pet care services in Ottawa, Almonte, Carleton Place and the surrounding areas.  Kelly provides your pets with the highest standard of service while giving you peace of mind.  By taking time to understand your needs and your pets we ensure a happy, safe and playful environment where your pets will get the socialization and exercise they require.

Our Policies

We understand life happens that’s why if you give us 24 hrs hours notice you will not be charged for your service. However if 3 consecutive cancellations occur a renegotiation of contract could occur which will include price increases. A cancellation fee of 50% of the total contract amount will apply if pet sitting services are cancelled with less than 3 days notice prior to the start of the contract.

We provide dog walking rain or shine. We understand though some dogs cannot take cold weather or do not like getting wet. Weather conditions will be based on your and your pets preference. If your dog cannot handle the extreme cold or rain then shorter walks and play can be arranged on these days so your pet gets a bathroom break and some socialization.

  • Your dog(s) must be licensed with the city.
  • Vaccinations (rabies, distemper, parvovirus (DHLPP), and bordetella, etc) up-to-date. Please consult your Veterinarian. Documentation as required.
  • Dogs and cats leaving your home must be free of any contagious diseases and/or no serious health issues or concerns. (Please advise us if there are any concerns so we can keep a close eye on your pet)
  • If your dog has history of aggression towards people and/or other animals, we need to be made aware of this so we can plan accordingly. A meet and greet will be arranged as part of a free consultation before your dog is introduced into a pack.

A 30 minute run with your dog. For high energy dogs with lots of energy to burn that require more than a hour walk can provide.

Your dog will be taken on a 1 hour group walk with up to 6 dogs.$25 per walk.

Your dog will be provided with a minimum of 1 hour of off-leash play and socialization in a safe controlled environment.

Your dog will be provided with a private one-on-one walk.$25 per 1/2 hour, $35 for two dogs

Your dog will be provided with a 1/2 hour private walk. For puppies or seniors 2 sessions a day is recommended in order to make sure there are no accidents in the house.

We will come to your house to give your animal(s) a bathroom break, socialization, provide positive play, and access to water / food. Starting at $25 per visit.

Pet Sitting

We will come to your house to give your animal(s) a bathroom break, socialization, provide positive play, and access to water / food. We can also water your plants, bring in the mail, rotate lights and blinds as you desire.
